There are several reasons why it may not be possible to attach a certain file.

The first thing you will need to check is the file size and file format:

Studybay allows attaching files no more than 15 MB in size, and only the files of the most common formats are supported.
Some of the supported formats include but are not limited to:

  • .doc/.docx

  • .xls/.xlsx

  • .ppt/.pptx

  • .rtf

  • .txt

  • .png

  • .jpg/.jpeg

  • .pdf

What if you absolutely need to upload a file greater than 15 MB or of an unsupported format? Use one of the numerous file hosting services on the internet, such as:

  • Google Drive

  • Sendspace

  • Mediafire

  • Dropbox

  • and others...

Upload the file to one of these services, and send a link to your expert in the chat - they will get it in no time!

If your file is less than 15 MB and has one of the supported formats, but you are still unable to upload it, clear your browser history and cookies, disable any plugins that may interfere, and try again. If it doesn't work, try a different browser.

After this, the files still refuse to upload, contact our support team by clicking on the chat icon, or send us a message to [email protected] describing the problem.
